Special Lives

We were set up in 1997 to provide support and assistance for families with a brain injured child through:

Sharing information and experiences at a practical level through our discussion forum.
Regular information sheets covering areas including care, education, therapies, special equipment, technology, vehicles, holidays, leisure activities and accommodation.
Putting families in touch with organisations that can help such as voluntary support groups and professional agencies.
Making families aware of their rights and potential entitlements as well as helping them to understand the roles and responsibilities of public organisations including social services and local education authorities.
